3D Printing: Pokemon

Community Education - Spring Summer 2025

Design your own 3D pocket monster using Tinkercad. 

This course will give students an introduction to using CAD modeling and design software. Student-designed Pokémon will be printed and mailed home.

Home Technical Requirements:

  • Computer: PC (Windows 7 or later) or Mac (OSX) with at least a 2GHz processor and 4GGB of RAM (Chromebooks, Tablets, and phones typically DO NOT work).
  • Internet: Broadband Internet
  • Webcam
  • Microphone and Speakers
  • Zoom Installed on Computer

Additional Technical Requirements:

  • TinkerCAD (login information provided during class)
  • PC Needed (Windows or MacBook), will not work on Chromebook, tablets, or phones.

Tech Academy (formerly Computer Explorers) of Minnesota is a locally-owned Twin Cities-based technology education company. Our company has a 20-year history of providing Project-Based Technology Education and Science classes, where students work together in small groups to reinforce core academic skills while learning invaluable 21st century competencies. 

Tech Academy also provides research-proven technology camps for kids and teens ages 4-15. We believe learning should be fun, innovative, challenging, and hands-on. We host more than 300 camps annually throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin, and we offer 30 different classes/camps in Minecraft, Video Game Design, Programming, Engineering, Robotics, Computers and Film Making.
