9th Annual Daddy Daughter Dance - Saturday, March 29
The 9th Annual “Daddy Daughter Dance” is a fun-filled evening of dancing and activities for young girls and the special adult in their lives. Open to girls ages 3-11 (pre-K through 5th grade). Cost is $30.00 for each parent/child couple plus $5.00 for each additional child. The evening includes live music, dancing, refreshments, a craft station, a keepsake photo and plenty of fun! Non-perishable food donations will be collected at the event for the Hudson Area Backpack Program. Your support is appreciated!
Spring and Summer Tennis is Now Open!
Community Ed offers a variety of youth tennis programs! These programs focus on the fundamentals including footwork, ball control, and racket control. Small drills and mini games are used to practice and reinforce skills.

3 Special Curries - Using Yogurt, Coconut Milk and Cashews

Join us as we continue our exploration of Indian cooking. In this class, we will focus on the use of yogurt as an ingredient to prepare three uniquely different curries and demonstrate basic methods used to prepare Indian curries. The demonstration will involve 3 vegetarian dishes including one in which besan (chickpea flour) is a central ingredient. Afterwards, we will dine and continue with an informal discussion on ‘all things Indian cuisine’. No previous Indian cooking experience required.

Family Memberships should be registered under one family member's name. It is not necessary to enroll each family member. Monthly usage membership for the Raider Fitness Center and indoor track at Hudson High School. School year hours: Monday - Friday 5:30 PM - 9:30 PM, Saturday -Sunday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, gym - check online schedule for availability. Summer hours: Monday - Friday 4:30 PM - 9:30 PM, gym - check online schedule for availability, Saturday - Sunday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Pickleball Classes - Intermediate Drill Class
Fitness
Rapidly improve your pickleball shots, game strategies, and footwork with an emphasis on winning double play. Specific drill play for dinking, spin serves, drop shots, and NVZ lobs will be used to increase your skill level. The last 30 minutes of class will include organized play emphasizing new skills. Prerequisite: Attendance at Beginner and Advanced Beginner classes, or student has received permission from the instructor to participate.

Monarch Tagging
Special Interest
Join Carpenter Nature Center to discover the amazing life cycle of the monarch butterfly, including their astounding migration to Mexico. Learn what conservation efforts can be implemented to help protect monarchs both in your backyard and abroad. Finally, we will head out to the prairie to catch, tag, and release as many wild monarchs as we can find! After the program, join us for the FREE annual Carpenter Nature Center Art Festival showcasing local artists and their appreciation for the natural world. Please wear clothing appropriate for walking off-trail through long grass. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

"Grease" at the Chanhassen Dinner Theaters

Experience the nostalgia of high school in the ‘50s – peer pressure, love, and teenage life set against the campy backdrop of Rydell High! Discover the drama, comedy, and pop-culture satire that has made Grease one of the most popular productions of all time! Don’t forget the music, with songs like “Summer Nights,” “We Go Together,” “Greased Lightnin’,” “Beauty School Dropout” and so many others, including the hits you love from the movie. Have fun as you groove and bop along! Contains mature situations and language similar to that of a PG-13 movie. Run time: 2 hours & 5 minutes, including one 20-minute intermission Price includes lunch, table or booth seating, and school bus transportation to and from the theater. No refunds will be issued after the ticket purchase deadline of August 26, 2025. Tickets may be transferred to another person if you are unable to attend the performance.
