Colorful Glass Mosaic Suncatcher or Table Lamp

Community Education Adult & Family Classes / Arts & Enrichment -
Community Education - Spring Summer 2024

Glass mosaic sounds like a fancy, difficult art form; however, in this class, you will learn how it can be fun and easy while creating a table lamp or suncatcher!

Look through the idea book, browse the patterns and stencils, and choose from dozens of colors of precut glass. The first evening will involve homework and the second evening will be grouting. There will be time to make multiple suncatchers too!

The 8”x8”x3” square lamp is $30, the 4”x9” rectangle lamp is $45. The 10” diameter suncatcher is $25, 8” is $23, and 6” is $18. Lamp/suncatcher fees are to be paid directly to the instructor on the first night of class.

When registering, please indicate/select the project you’ll be making (8x8 lamp, 4x9 lamp, or suncatcher).

Lindsey Guetter

After a day at the office where Lindsey is an analyst for an airline, and a mom to two boys, she loves to unwind with mosaics. Lindsey has been teaching and enjoying glass mosaics for at least five years, although it is difficult to keep count when having so much fun and chasing two young boys! She enjoys seeing all the different creations people can make using the same materials, because no two mosaics are ever the same. Her favorite part of doing mosaics is relaxing, getting creative, and teaching others how much fun it can be. She teaches mosaics in a way to make it accessible to all ages and skill levels. Her goal is to make this a fun, relaxing, humorous evening where time flies.
