    LEGO building can help us to disconnect from everyday stresses and bring a little extra joy into our lives. We will use legos to practice mindfulness. Sometimes, we will get engrossed even when we don’t have a plan that tells us precisely what to build. And other times, we will be given lego challenges that will focus on specific tasks. Along the way, we will be aware of the mindfulness practicing we are doing with legos. Let's build. Class Limit: 24
  • Making Miniatures

    WHAT? A whole class dedicated to miniatures? Sign me up. We will create tiny settings and objects in this class using cardboard, paint, fabric and found objects. Past settings have included outdoor parks, bakeries, houses, single rooms and favorite stores. Class Limit: 24
  • Painting and Printmaking

    Painting and Printmaking class gives you time to learn and practice painting techniques. We will be using watercolors, tempera, and acrylic paint to create artwork you are proud of. Printmaking is an artform that gives an artist the ability to create multiple images by creating a surface to print. It's basically creating a stamp. Please note there is a $10 fee for this class.     This class will introduce students to the basic skills and knowledge associated with playing a variety of racket sports such as tennis, badminton, and tennyball. Yoga can improve strength, balance, and flexibility and students will be part of a supportive group. We’ll begin with a focus activity, do warm-up activities, learn basic yoga poses and finish class with a mindfulness exercise. Items needed: Yoga mat, comfortable clothing, and a water bottle. Class Limit: 24
