This beginner-friendly workshop is perfect for teens who want to unleash their creativity, work as a team, and embark on an epic journey. During this one-time, four-hour session, you'll create your own unique character, learn the basic rules of gameplay, and dive into a thrilling one-hour campaign designed to bring your imagination to life.
No experience is required — this class is for first-time adventurers ready to roll the dice and discover the magic of D&D! Class fee includes a character sheet, a full set of 7 game dice, and a dice rolling tray. Participants are encouraged to bring a notebook and pencil/pen.
The same instruction is presented at each session; multiple sessions are offered for participant convenience.
Angie is a former high school English teacher who is passionate about storytelling and creative collaboration. As a D&D enthusiast and experienced high school educator, she enjoys sharing her passion for this imaginative game with students.
Angie believes in the power of role-playing games to foster creativity, community, teamwork, and problem-solving skills amd is excited to bring this engaging experience to the community.
