8th Annual Daddy Daughter Dance - April 27th
The 8th Annual “Daddy Daughter Dance” will be a fun-filled evening of dancing and activities for young girls and the special men in their lives. Open to girls ages 3-11 (pre-K through 5th grade). Cost is $30.00 for each parent/child couple plus $5.00 for each additional child. The evening includes live music, dancing, refreshments, a craft station, a keepsake photo and plenty of fun! Non-perishable food donations will be collected at the event for the Hudson Area Backpack Program.

This camp will energize and excite students by combining the LEGO® building system’s versatility and the Mindstorms EV3 (the most sophisticated microcomputer brick ever made by LEGO®). Working in teams, students will construct fun LEGO® models, experiment with programs, and compete in robotic challenges. Robot building, block programming, and teamwork will be part of the day’s activities. The final challenges will be centered around hitting targets and a sumo battle. All equipment is provided. Price includes the use of all equipment. Please bring a lunch and a drink. Registration Deadline: Tuesday, July 16, 2024

Family Memberships should be registered under one family member's name. It is not necessary to enroll each family member. Monthly usage membership for the Raider Fitness Center and indoor track at Hudson High School. School year hours: Monday - Friday 5:30 PM - 9:30 PM, Saturday -Sunday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, gym - check online schedule for availability. This class is an introduction to basic German and German culture. By the end of this class, you will be able to introduce yourself, count in German, and know several songs. You will also learn about all of the German speaking countries and their cultures. Class Limit: 24
Summer School - Middle School - August - 2024
Guitar 101
Music
In this course, students will learn the basic essentials of music and the guitar. Topics will range from studying Music Theory to learning Basic Chords and strumming patterns. In the first two classes, students will learn basic picking and strumming techniques and a few basic chords. In the following two classes, students will learn basic music theory. In the final two classes, students will learn how to read basic music notation. Students need to bring their own guitar and an extra set of strings. This course is for students ages 12 and older.

In this course, students will continue to learn the basic essentials of music and the guitar. In the first two classes, students will learn to play extra chords. In the remaining four classes, students will learn how to play songs. A class recital will be held on the last class date. Students need to bring their own guitar and an extra set of strings. Students should have completed Guitar 101 or have basic familiarity with picking/strumming chords, basic music theory, and basic music notation.

High School Tennis Camp (ages 13-18)

High School Tennis Camp is for students currently playing tennis at High School level or USTA junior level tennis. This is an advanced camp and is intended to develop and improve a student’s skills and strokes. Students must be 13 years old by the first day of class. Camp content includes: advanced drills and strategy, proper stroke techniques including spins, proper footwork and court positioning, shot selection, Singles & Doubles strategy, winning mentally, power vs consistency, focus and concentration, and strength, stretching and fitness. Students should bring one can of tennis balls, a racquet, and a water bottle to class.

Whether you're thinking about buying your first home or your third home, now's the time to create a plan for one of your biggest investments and what it means for your future. Home Buying 101 features three experts to help you understand the steps involved in purchasing a home. Jill will touch on understanding home values, timing of your purchase, market statistics and why it is important to have a realtor representing you during the transaction from start to finish. Most importantly a lender will explain the pre-approval process and the various mortgage finance options and why credit scores are crucial in the pre-qualification process. They will also share what you will need to apply for a loan and why timing is so important to help you find your dream home. Finally, a licensed Home Inspector will share why it is important to have a home inspection and Radon testing. Matt Rappel will share what he looks at during the home inspection and will discuss the importance of having a radon test conducted in the home you are wanting to buy. McNamee Real Estate Team/Keller Williams Realty does not charge a fee for this class. The fee for this class supports Community Education's operations.
