  • Beginning Yoga

    Integrate what you've learned in Yoga 101 (not a required prerequisite) in this regular yoga class flow. An introduction to the principles of foundation, alignment and breath. Self-awareness and acceptance are essential. Honoring the beginner’s mind, we introduce basic poses that flow together. Build strength, increase flexibility and muscle tone, reduce stress and increase lung capacity. All levels are welcome. You’ll need to bring your own yoga mat. A bottle of water is recommended.

  • Is Your Waistband Too Tight Today? Strategies for Beating Belly Bloat

    Have you ever found that in the morning your pants fit fine but by mid-afternoon, the waistband squeezes you like a tourniquet? Or that no matter how many crunches you do, your stomach still hangs out? Getting rid of a potbelly is much more than just doing abdominal exercises. In this workshop, you will learn the main causes and six strategies for getting rid of belly bloat. We will do a few exercises designed to strengthen the deepest layer of abdominal muscle - the layer that is responsible for flattening your stomach, shaping your waistline, and supporting your lower back. And we will do this without getting on the floor.
  • Pickleball Classes - Advanced Beginner

    Take your pickleball skills to the next level. We’ll concentrate on good serving techniques, return of serve, correct dinking, learning the drop shot, forehand and backhand along with winning court strategies. Demo Engage paddles will be available. The last 30 minutes of class will include organized play emphasizing new skills.
  • Pickleball Classes - Beginner

    Come learn the fastest growing sport in America with Gold Medalist and PPR instructor, Michael Lammer. You will learn how to keep score, how to serve, return serve and play the “No Volley” zone by participating in specialized drills and instruction on court strategies. The last 30 minutes of class will include organized play. Discussion about which type of paddle suits you will be done during the first session and demo Engage paddles will be available for all classes.
  • Pickleball Classes - Intermediate Drill Class

    Rapidly improve your pickleball shots, game strategies, and footwork with an emphasis on winning double play. Specific drill play for dinking, spin serves, drop shots, and NVZ lobs will be used to increase your skill level. The last 30 minutes of class will include organized play emphasizing new skills. Prerequisite: Attendance at Beginner and Advanced Beginner classes, or student has received permission from the instructor to participate.
  • Pickleball Clinic - Beginner (2.0-2.5)

    Beginner Pickleball Clinic (2.0-2.5) is designed for players with a basic understanding of the game. In this 2-hour clinic, you'll learn proper stroke fundamentals, introduce shot selection and basic strategies. Students should bring their own paddle and pickleballs. Dan Erickson is a ranked Senior Pro Pickleball Player. He is a certified PTR and PPR instructor. During this series, you will learn how to combine the 5 Tai Chi Easy™ movements with a Tai Chi style of “Walking.” You will continue with the practice of incorporating the “Four Baskets of Practice” by sharing methods to enhance Body Posture and Movement, Breathwork, Self-Applied Massage, and Meditation. A variety of Qigong gestures will be added to your practice as well.   • Yoga 101

    This 4-week series is ideal for people who have never done yoga before or who have limited experience. Students will explore the history of yoga and discover its many benefits: weight loss, stress relief, increased strength, flexibility and more. This series includes 20 minutes of discussion and 55 minutes of yoga. Yoga 101 will prepare you for any beginning level class. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing and be prepared to take your shoes and socks off. Yoga is practiced with bare feet. You’ll need to bring your own yoga mat. A bottle of water is recommended.
