Hudson Community Services: Community Education, School Age Care, Summer Programs

In this class, we will analyze and break down how figurative language works in our daily lives and then apply these skills to write in a variety of formats including poetry, stories/narratives, and persuasive techniques. We'll break down how stories are made, how to develop interesting and unique characters, and why stories are written in the first place - teaching lessons and giving students stories they can relate to their own personal lives.  This class is for those students entering 4th & 5th grades in the fall.
