Get ready to dig in, get messy, and bring your imagination to life—one lump of clay at a time! In this hands-on camp, young artists will explore the wonderful world of pottery as they learn to shape, spin, roll, and design using real studio tools like the pottery wheel, slab roller, and clay extruder. From funky bowls to whimsical creatures to colorful glazed creations, every day brings a new project and a new chance to create something totally your own. We’ll experiment with different types of clay, try out vibrant glazes, and discover just how magical mud can be. Campers are welcome to bring a snack and water bottle. Aprons will be available for use. We’ll let you know when they’re ready to pick up and admire! This class is meeting at Craig Seath’s Studio, tucked behind his house at 1023 7th St., Hudson. A $35 materials fee is due to the instructor at class; Instructor accepts cash, check or Venmo.
