Kids today face more stress than ever—from academic pressures to the pull of social media and screens. Anxiety is rising, and many parents are seeking ways to support their child’s mental well-being. Join us for a professionally facilitated, four-week book study on the #1 bestseller The Anxious Generation. Chapters will be assigned each week, and discussions will be guided to help unpack how modern childhood has changed and what we can do to help kids and teens build confidence, resilience, and real-world connections. Together, we’ll explore societal shifts behind rising anxiety and depression in Gen Z, the impact of smartphones and social media, and practical strategies for fostering resilience.
Whether you’re a parent, educator, or passionate about mental health, please come prepared to engage in thoughtful conversation and gain actionable insights to support the next generation. Participants must purchase or borrow their own copy of the book prior to the session start date.
Selena Freimark, MA, is a passionate advocate for self-care and community care. With a Master’s in Human Development, certification as a Gallup Strengths Coach, training in mindfulness and mind-body practices, and a Grief Support Specialist Certification, she empowers individuals and groups to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and purpose. She is especially dedicated to guiding others through mindfulness, grief, and anxiety—helping them find peace and strength along the way.
