Commercials, social media, packaging, billboards—nutrition information is everywhere, and it can be overwhelming. One week a food is “bad,” the next week it’s a “superfood.” But healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated! Fresh, whole foods (and fewer processed ones) can make a big difference in your health—sometimes the real challenge is just figuring out what to make and how to fit it into a busy schedule.

Join health and wellness educator Kiley for a fun, approachable, and hands-on cooking series designed to help you bring more nutritious, plant-based meals into your kitchen. Each month features:

  • A featured recipe (provided ahead of time with an ingredient list)
  • A 75-minute session with a presentation, cooking demo, and discussion
  • Follow-up materials including detailed recipes, substitution ideas, nutrition facts, and extra resources
  • A monthly nutrition topic to deepen your knowledge and confidence in the kitchen

Instructor

Kiley Huber


Kiley graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Kinesiology & Health: Exercise Science and a minor in Health Promotion. After working as a Wellness Specialist in a Corporate setting for over five years, she earned a Master of Science Nutrition degree through the National University of Natural Medicine. In her Wellness Specialist role, she educated employees about health-related topics in various ways, including designing multi-week and month programs, writing articles and giving presentations. She has led a number of different classes and presented about nutrition-related topics. "I am inspired to apply holistic nutrition in a coaching setting, guiding participants along their wellness journey in a welcoming, empathetic space. I enjoy using my creativity skills to educate others about lifestyle behavior change, nutrition and overall well-being."
