Designed for youth in grades 9–12, this beginner Italian course introduces learners to the Italian language and culture in a fun and interactive way. Through interactive activities such as role-playing, conversations, and listening exercises, students will develop practical communication skills, build confidence in everyday situations, and gain a deeper appreciation of Italian language and culture. Curious about Italian language and culture? This beginner-friendly class offers a welcoming space to start your journey. Through games, role-play, and cultural activities, students will practice greetings, introductions, and essential everyday expressions. No previous experience needed—just a love for learning and Italy! A +$30 materials fee is due at class; Cash or check accepted.

Stefania Maria Padalino

A native Italian speaker and experienced language instructor, Stefania brings a passion for Italian language and culture to every classroom. She blends interactive teaching methods—such as role-playing, music, and real-life scenarios—with multimedia resources, including videos, audio recordings, and digital tools, to create lessons that are both engaging and memorable. Her approach emphasizes active participation, encouraging students to practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing in meaningful contexts. Stefania’s goal is to help students not only learn Italian but experience it fully, fostering confidence, curiosity, and a genuine enthusiasm for the language and the culture it represents.
