Discover the French language and today’s modern culture with a native speaker in a friendly, beginner-level class focused on conversation. Instead of just textbook French, you’ll learn how people really speak today through practical dialogue, everyday expressions, and cultural insights. This class is perfect for beginners who want to feel comfortable speaking and understanding real French in a relaxed, interactive environment. Printed materials are provided. Each four-week session covers the same Beginner 1 curriculum. A $30 materials fee is due at class; Cash accepted.

A native French speaker, Seval Kankizil Peteri holds a Master’s degree in Business and has a professional background as a pastry chef. Her teaching experience began with academic tutoring during her university years and has continued through leading hands-on pastry workshops. As a mother of three, she brings exceptional patience, strong communication skills, and a supportive teaching style to every class. Combining academic rigor with creative expertise, Seval is a dedicated, organized, and engaging instructor who enjoys helping participants build confidence while learning new skills.
