Hudson Community Services: Community Education, School Age Care, Summer Programs

Stay active, connect with others, and enjoy the game in a fun and flexible format! This is not a league—teams are formed on-site each week, and play is open to all registered participants who show up. Whether you’re brushing up on your skills, looking for a workout, or just love the game, this is a great way to get out on the court.

Important Details:

• Registration is required—no walk-ins
• Registration covers the entire session (Mar-May)
• Enrollment is capped at 45 participants
• Proof of registration is provided by Community Education and must be carried by players during gym use
• Community Education may conduct random drop-in checks for registration verification
• No basketball on Mar 11, 18, Apr 22

Hudson Community Education Recreational Sport Facility Use Guide & Agreement

We strive to uphold a safe and fun environment for recreational activities. As such, we expect proper, respectful conduct on the premises at all times. We do not permit disrespectful conduct toward participants, our employees, others using the facility or property. This includes, but is not limited to, vulgar, profane, indecent, offensive, violent, hostile, aggressive, threatening, harassing, stalking, fraudulent, or other inappropriate conduct or communications. Participants are expected to comply with all Hudson School District policies and procedures.

As a registered participant, I agree to follow the rules and below to help ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for all participating in recreational activities. I also agree to comply with all Hudson School District policies and procedures. Clicking “Yes” constitutes my electronic signature and agreement to these terms.

Conduct & Courtesies

I agree to:

• Treat all participants and staff with respect and courtesy.
• Respect individual privacy – taking photos is prohibited.
• Bring only water into the gym.
• Share equipment and space courteously and return items after use.
• Wear clean, non-marking shoes (no street shoes) and appropriate athletic attire, including shirts and shoes.

Registration & Identification

I agree to:

• Carry and present my Eleyo registration receipt (or photo) if requested by Community Education staff during check-in (Eleyo is the online registration system used by Community Education. Confirmation receipts are automatically emailed upon registration).
• Report any unregistered individuals or concerns to Community Education staff.

Liability & Assumption of Risk

I acknowledge that:

• There is an inherent risk of accident or injury in any activity. The Hudson School District assumes no responsibility for injuries received during activities.
• The Hudson School District is not responsible for damage to personal items.
• The Hudson School District is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items.

Facility Rules

I understand that:

• All school property is tobacco-, drug-, and alcohol-free.
• Weapons and firearms are prohibited.
• Flammable substances are not permitted inside school buildings.

Supervision & Safety

I understand that:

• Custodial staff oversee building operations but do not supervise activities.
• Any damage, safety issues, or facility concerns must be communicated promptly to custodial or Community Education staff.
• Minor children are not permitted to participate in adult activities. Due to safety and supervision concerns, children should not be spectators or in the care of participants.

Cancellations

I understand that:

• Facility use is automatically canceled when the Hudson School District closes due to weather, emergency, or other circumstances.
• No partial refunds will be issued for cancellations due to these conditions.
