Do you enjoy learning about the quickest, fiercest, and strongest animals on our planet? Are you interested in learning how those animals benefit their environments? Are you fascinated by the survival traits that animals use to get to the top of the food chain? Then this class is for you! In this class, we’re going to learn about the different types of apex predators throughout the world, how they interact with their environments, and how they’ve been able to outlast other species. We’ll be discussing different ecosystems, hunting techniques, and the histories of these animals. This class is for students entering 4th & 5th grades in the fall.

Challenge yourself by learning new board games. You will learn how to play games involving strategy and logic. Many of these games will also involve creative problem-solving. Students will learn to share, learn how to take turns, and the importance of good sportsmanship. This class is for those students entering 2nd and 3rd grades in the fall.

This class will revolve around creating very easy and yummy treats that are part of stories that your child would read. The recipes will be easy enough for the children to make independently at home as a treat for their families. NOTE: Please be mindful of any food allergies when signing up for this class, as a variety of ingredients will be used. This class is being offered to those students entering 3rd grade in the fall.

Do you enjoy designing and creating things? Then this class is for you! You’ll have the chance to make your own games, writing tools, craft supply tote bag, and much, much more. We’ll also have pop-up creation challenges using a wide variety of materials. Join us for this brain stimulating hour. This class is for students entering 1st & 2nd grades in the fall.

You can make what? Out of duct tape? Learn how to make arts and crafts like a rose pen, feathers, wallets, book marks, bracelets and many more projects out of duct tape. Students will also discover the many ways duct tape can be used around home, as well as all the "cool" colors and patterns that duct tape comes in. The only requirement is to allow your creativity to flourish! This class is for those students entering 4th and 5th grades in the fall.

Do you have a sense of adventure and mystery? In this class, we will use clues, logic, and teamwork to complete escape room puzzles. In "Escape Room Extravaganza", you will work with a group to try to beat the clock and escape from a different place or story each day! Escape room puzzles will be a combination of hands on and digital. Something for all adventure and mystery lovers! Note: This is a 2-hour class from 10:00-11:55 a.m. This class is for those students entering 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades in the fall.

Would you rather be outdoors than indoors? Students will have an opportunity to go on nature walks, discover birds living near and around them, identify trees and prairie plants, maintain gardens, and identify pond life. Students will have the opportunity to creatively read and write nonfiction books, photograph nature, and participate in hands-on projects that promote reducing, reusing, and recycling. This class is being offered to those students entering 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades in the fall.
