This class is for swimmers who can swim 10 yards front crawl, swim 10 yards backstroke, have experience with the back crawl, flip turns, and breaststroke, and are comfortable treading water for a short period of time. In this class, swimmers will be introduced to the side stroke and scissor kicks, as well as diving from a standing position. Swimmers will become more proficient and refine their strokes in order to swim 25 yards front crawl and 25 yards backstroke. At the completion of this class, students will be able to tread water for 30 seconds, perform flip turns comfortably, as well as swim 15 yards of the breaststroke and back crawl.. Ages 5-15.
