Many of us have boxes filled with photographs, letters, keepsakes, and memorabilia that we've saved for years—but rarely revisit. In this thought-provoking and practical presentation, you'll learn how to turn those collections into one meaningful keepsake that can be enjoyed today and shared for generations. We'll explore why memorabilia is so difficult to organize, how to decide what truly matters, and creative ways to preserve your memories without keeping every item.
Perfect for anyone who wants to honor their life experiences, reduce clutter, and create a lasting legacy from the memories they've saved. Content is the same for each session. A notebook and pen are recommended.
Valerie Cady, owner of Winnow and Spruce Organizing, steps forward in partnership with others to clear space, restore order, and reveal delight. Her passion for organizing began in childhood, when she saw the joy on her mother’s face after she transformed a cluttered space. That spark grew into a career of helping people find peace and freedom through organization.
Her personal journey—including downsizing from a 2,800-square-foot family home to a 200-square-foot studio and moving five times in under two years—gives her firsthand understanding of the challenges (and opportunities) that come with decluttering and starting fresh.
As a professional organizer, she creates a safe, judgment-free environment where every story is honored and every mess holds possibility. With simple, budget-friendly solutions, she helps clients keep what matters most, let go of the rest, and experience the life-changing impact of an organized home.
