Discover a more effective and compassionate way to communicate with yourself and others. Based on the work of Marshall Rosenberg and the principles of Nonviolent Communication (NVC), this interactive class introduces practical tools for expressing needs, navigating conflict, and building stronger relationships. Participants will explore how understanding their own needs and emotions can lead to more productive conversations, greater cooperation, and deeper connection with family, friends, coworkers, and community members. Through discussion and guided practice, participants will learn the foundational elements of Nonviolent Communication and gain skills they can apply in everyday life.
Whether you're looking to improve communication at home, school, work, or in personal relationships, this class offers valuable tools for creating understanding and connection.
Karen found so much freedom in her life when she found Nonviolent Communication. She was attracted to the simplicity, and connection that resulted when she increased her skills and emotional intelligence as she was able to communicate more compassionately. Karen also found a lot more access to self-empathy. She is a certification candidate registered with the Center for Nonviolent Communication. She is part of the Trainer Certification Community Pathway and hopes to be certified by summer 2026.
