WaitlistYouth Tennis Camp 1 (ages 5-8)Sports & FitnessThis is an introductory course for youth ages 5-8. Students will be introduced to basic tennis strokes and movement. Emphasis will be on movement, games and anticipation. Students must be 5 years old by July 18 or July 25, 2022 (depending on which session is chosen). Make-up class will be arranged with the instructor in case of bad weather. Beginner Tennis Camp (ages 12-17)Sports & FitnessThis beginner tennis camp is for Middle School and High School students who would be interested in playing High School tennis. Students must be 12 years old by July 18 or July 25, 2022 (depending on which session is chosen). This is an introductory course. Course content includes introduction to the game of tennis, basic rules and strategy, proper stroke technique, drills and scoring, singles & doubles play. High School Tennis Camp (ages 13-18)Sports & FitnessHigh School Tennis Camp is for students currently playing tennis at High School level or USTA junior level tennis. This is an advanced camp and is intended to develop and improve a student’s skills and strokes. Students must be 13 years old by July 18 or 25, 2022 (depending on which session is chosen). Camp content includes: advanced drills and strategy, proper stroke techniques including spins, proper footwork and court positioning, shot selection, Singles & Doubles strategy, winning mentally, power vs consistency, focus and concentration, and strength, stretching and fitness. TennyBallMiddle School/August/11:00 Summer School ClassesTennyball is a fun filled, fast paced game great for all ages. If you like baseball, softball, tennis, and dodge ball this is the class for you. It combines all those skills into one game. The game is played similar to baseball or softball. The only difference is you use a tennis racquet and tennis ball. Games are played in the gym and gloves are not required. The art of dodge ball is incorporated since you may get one another out by throwing the ball at them. Class Limit: 24Middle School August 2022 Summer School
