Estate Planning 101

Estate planning is the process of transferring your estate during life and/or at death to others. The purpose is to utilize the exemptions allowed by the state and federal government to efficiently move assets to heirs with the least amount of inconvenience, taxes and other transfer expenses. This course will help provide you with an overview of what estate planning is, the tools required and strategies to help guide you on your journey. Particular topics addressed include: What is estate planning, tools of transfer, Estate Tax fundamentals, estate planning strategies, and Gift Tax fundamentals.

Daniel Goldsmith

Daniel has a Bachelors degree from the College of St Scholastica. He has been teaching educational retirement planning courses and is a Retirement Income Specialist with a RICP designation.
