Woodworking - Intro to Bowl Turning
Bowl turning can be very creative and rewarding. You can turn a small bowl in just a few hours. In this class, you will learn the best types of materials to use for a bowl and how to set up and safely use the lathe correctly. Students will learn the basics of how to handle a bowl chisel, along with scraping, sanding and finishing techniques for bowl turning.
George Vondriska has been teaching woodworking since 1986. In addition to running his own woodworking school, George has taught woodworking courses for woodworking shows, woodworking schools, retail stores, the U.S. Peace Corps, the Pentagon, Northwest Airlines, and Andersen Window. George is the primary instructor for Vondriska Woodworks woodworking classes.
