Community Education - Fall Winter 2023-2024

Parenting is hard work! Parenting with Pride focuses on social-emotional development and strengthens the relationship between child and parent. 

Our goal is to help families create a calmer household, build and maintain positive relationships with each child, and help parents improve child behaviors with effective communication. 

Following dinner, parents meet as a group and kids have supervised time. 

Only one adult should register for the family. It is not necessary to register all family members. When registering, you will be asked to indicate the names of family members who will be attending.Tuition fee includes dinner for your family.

Alison Schloesser (right) and Leah Wahlberg (left) are teachers at Willow River Elementary school. In addition, they are hosts of the school district's new parenting podcast series, "Parenting with Pride."  

In this new podcast series, Alison and Leah share their perspectives on parenting, both from a parent lens as well as a teacher lens. Pictured (above) recording the first episode of the podcast, "Ready. Get Set. Where Did Summer Go? Transition Back to School With a Smile!"
