Community Education Adult & Family Classes / Special Interest -
Community Education - Fall Winter 2023-2024

More and more online scams are targeting older adults.

Join Jennifer Lotze. the Hudson School District's Assistant Director of Teaching and Learning - Technology, to learn what to look for and how to protect yourself from relationship scams, charity scams, non-existent credit card offers, email phishing and more.

This is one of Community Education's most requested classes. and it receives excellent evaluations: "Jen's personality as a presenter is great! She is knowledgeable, energetic, witty and kept everything interesting and relevant." "Seniors and adults who did not grow up with computers and cellphones are at a disadvantage. By the time we figure something out, it's already obsolete and we have to figure out the next thing. This class was excellent." "This class is so beneficial in teaching seniors and older adults how to protect themselves and their personal information when they are online."

Participants should bring their Smartphone, iPad or other portable device to class.
