Do you love Space? Would you like to learn how to train like an astronaut?
Over the course of two sessions, Christopher Mick from Space. St. Croix, will cover the basics of space exploration history, rocket design, as well as current and future missions.
Participants will do teamwork challenges, sample some foods that are flown up to astronauts on the International Space Station, design their own space habitat, plant their own Mars Garden sample, and so many more out-of-this-world activities!
Christoper runs Space St. Croix, which presents aviation and space programming on-site in Hudson public and private schools, home schools, YMCA Camp St Croix, and community programs at the Hudson Library. He has a passion for promoting STEM careers to Hudson students and is also a NASA Solar System Ambassador.
